THE COSTUME SHOPPE was created by owner & costume designer Whitney Bolam, to help community theatre companies in London Ontario source specialty costume pieces for the stage.
Since opening its closet doors in 2012, The Costume Shoppe has grown as a costume rental source for theatrical productions, photo sessions and other special events, including Halloween. In addition to costume rentals, The Costume Shoppe also creates custom-made costume pieces and accessories for purchase by request.
The Costume Shoppe has worked with a variety of organizations and individuals including: London Community Players, Original Kids Theatre Company, Oakville Children's Music Theatre, London Children's Museum, Empty Space Productions, Shrew'd Business, Maybles' Productions, Aerie Theatre, Double D Productions, London District Christian Secondary School, East Elgin Secondary School, Catholic Central High School, Saunders Secondary School, Medway Secondary School, The Salvation Army, the Thames Valley District School Board and musician Liam Isaac for his music video In the Dark, as well as numerous other individuals for special occasions, including corporate events, formal events and Halloween.
